When it’s time to hit the slopes, you need to make sure you’ve brought all your essentials with you. Otherwise, it will be a big disaster.

The cold is harsh, and you do not want to be unprepared when facing it.

Watch the video below and get some ideas of what to wear on your Ski trip:

Now you know what to wear while skiing. But you will need to bring more than just fashionable clothing. Here are the top 5 items you need:

1. Jacket

You don’t want frostbite? Same.

I’m sure there’s a slim chance you’ll forget to bring your jacket on a ski trip, but I still put it on the list just in case.

2. Layers

Aside from your jacket, you must be covered in multiple layers during your trip.

You will need a base layer to act as your second skin that is breathable and does its job in regulating your temperature and keeping moisture away from your skin. Synthetic fabrics and merino wools are great options.

A middle layer is also necessary as additional protection just to make sure you’re kept warm. Fleece is usually the classic choice for this.

3. Ski Gear

If you’re a beginner, rest this one. But, if you ski frequently, you must already have your gear. Gears consist of a helmet, goggles, ski, ski poles, and ski boots.

4. Ski Accessories

These are additional things like ski holder straps to keep your skis together, warmers for your hands and boots, and wrist guards.

5. First Aid Kit

We always have to be prepared in case of emergencies. Packing a first aid kit can be a life-saver at the most critical moments.

Skiing is an extreme sport. You have to be mindful about what you have to bring. Check and recheck your luggage always to make sure nothing important gets left behind.
