During the normal wound healing process, there is also a slow increase of antioxidants found in the body. Vitamin E is widely known for its antioxidant properties. However, there has been no proof that Vitamin E itself helps repair the skin faster.
We are always on the lookout for scarring remedies on the market, but as it turns out, Vitamin E is not one of them. Research says that Vitamin E provides no positive effects to a scarred skin. It may even worsen a scar’s appearance if applied directly and liberally to the skin.
Stretch marks are nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone has it, but some people want to get rid of them and that’s perfectly fine. It’s their bodies, and they can do whatever they want with it. However, I would not recommend applying Vitamin E to decrease stretch marks.
